Jean-Marie Haag vs W.Gisselbrecht

No other grape variety in Alsace reaches such a dangerous combination of high must weight and low acididy as Gewurztraminer. The ratio sugar/acid is often close to 3, which is the double in comparison with Riesling.

Jean-Marie Haag, Alsace; HKD 229 @ Voici Wine, Pacifica Mall, Cheung Sha Wan
W.Gisselbrecht, Alsace; HKD 198 x 0.9 @ Impression Gallery,Cheung Sha Wan Plaza

Basically, these 2 bottles are very close on the taste and the nose. However, Haag is more impressive. It is relatively lighter (slightly) in the must weight, and no bitter taste on the finish.
