Flowerbomb de Paris

L’Oréal has unveiled a limited-edition version of its Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb fragrance, which will be available only in selected travel retail doors. The fragrance, called Flowerbomb de Paris, will be available from July exclusively in Parisian airport shops.

Only 1,600 numbered bottles will be available. The limited-edition fragrance was created by the Dutch design duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren as a tribute to Paris. It is described as a “celebration of the City of Lights."

The original Flowerbomb was itself unveiled in Paris in late 2004, prior to its launch in Europe and the US in 2005. “Flowerbomb de Paris is an ode to the French capital in a 50ml bottle,” says L’Oréal.

Inspired by “L’air de Paris”, Viktor & Rolf aim to make consumers rediscover the City of Lights through sketches of their favorite places: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Sacré Coeur, among others. These symbols decorate the faceted diamond-like flacon, which was created to the iconic city.
